Purr & Seek Terms of Use

The rules for playing Purr & Seek, in plain English.

1. Who we are

Purr & Seek is made and published by DM Universal Ltd, trading as PomoGames, a company in the United Kingdom. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean DM Universal Ltd, and "the game" means Purr & Seek.

By downloading or playing the game you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not play. You must be at least 13 years old to play.

2. What the game costs

The game is free to download and play. It shows adverts, and it offers optional purchases: a subscription and one-off purchases. You never have to buy anything to play.

3. The subscription: Purr & Seek Unlimited

Purr & Seek Unlimited is an optional subscription with a monthly plan and a yearly plan. While it is active you get unlimited new levels, no adverts, and exclusive journal stickers each month.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID, or your Google Play account, when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the price current at that time, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep the benefits until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • We do not give refunds for part-used periods. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
  • Prices are shown in the app before you buy. A price may change for future periods. If it does, the store will tell you beforehand.

4. Yarn, stickers and other items

Yarn, stickers and other in-game items, including the "Yarn stash" purchase, are a licence to use those items inside the game. They are not your property. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything else, and cannot be transferred to another player or another game.

Purchases of in-game items are not refundable, except where the law requires it.

Watching an advert for a reward is always optional.

5. Your Pomo account

You can play without an account. A Pomo account is optional and free, and it is one account across all Pomo games. You are responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your login details to yourself. You can delete your account in the game at any time, or follow the steps on our account deletion page.

6. Player names, friends and the weekly race

Your player name can be seen by other players. It must not be offensive, and it must not pretend to be someone else. We may rename or remove a name that breaks this rule, and we may remove scores that were obtained by cheating.

You can report and block other players in the game.

7. Playing fair

Please do not cheat, tamper with the game or its data, use automated play, or reverse engineer the game. If you do, we may remove your scores or close your Pomo account.

8. Who owns the game

The game and everything in it belong to DM Universal Ltd. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to play it on devices you own or control, for your own enjoyment and not for business use. This licence does not give you ownership of any part of the game.

9. Changes to the game and to these terms

The game, its events and its features may change or come to an end. We may also update these terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the updated terms.

10. Our responsibility to you

The game is provided as it is. We work to keep it running well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably have foreseen.

Nothing in these terms limits or removes any rights you have as a consumer under the law of the United Kingdom or of the country where you live.

11. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living somewhere else, you also keep the protections that the law of your own country gives you.

12. If you got the game from Apple

These terms are an agreement between you and DM Universal Ltd, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the game or its content. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies to your use of the game on Apple devices.
