Every island changes the puzzle
Where it starts: straight channels and bends.
About
Little Waterways is a cosy puzzle game set on islands floating in the sky. Each level is a small garden with a spring at one end, thirsty crop plots at the other and a jumble of chunky clay channel blocks in between. Tap a block to turn it, line the channels up, and the water runs through to the plots. When it reaches all of them, the garden grows.
There is no clock to beat. Each level gives you a number of turns to do it in, and there are hints and undos if you get stuck.
Over 300 levels
It starts on Meadow Isle with straight channels and bends, and each island after that brings something new. On Orchard Isle the water splits in two. On Windmill Isle some blocks turn together. On Frost Isle frozen blocks thaw when the water arrives. Further on there are waterwheels, sluice gates, sliding blocks, rainbow bridges and hot-spring baths to fill.
Every island has its own look, its own music and its own crops to grow.
A new garden every day
The Daily Garden is one new puzzle a day, the same for everyone, with a streak to keep going. Finish an island and Golden Harvest opens: harder versions of its levels, where the aim is to water every plot in as few turns as you can.
An island of your own
What you harvest goes towards an island that is yours to lay out. Cottages, ponds, beehives, swings, greenhouses: there are more than 100 things to put on it.
Plants keep growing, animals drop by, and the day turns to night.
