Fetch the order
Find the right box in the racks. If it is up high, someone has to drive the forklift.

Read the instructions
One booklet, tiny print. Whoever holds it calls out the steps, if they can find the magnifier.

Build it
Snap the parts on, screws in by hand, then the one screwdriver or the one hammer to fix it. Somebody always has it.

Carry the big stuff together
Wardrobe sides need two people. Walk it through the aisles without hitting anything.

Face the customer
Impatient, perfectionist or big spender. They all check your work, and a wrong screw shows.
Mr Pips has some news
Mid-shift, the memos arrive. None of them make the job easier.

Another day at the store.
I wanted a co-op game where the job is simple and doing it well is impossible. So you and up to three friends work the floor of a flat-pack furniture store. An order comes in, you find the box (it’s on the top shelf, so someone gets the forklift), open it, and build the thing from one set of instructions that only one of you can be holding.
There’s one screwdriver. There’s one hammer. The screws are colour-coded, and a wrong one fits fine until the customer picks the thing up. Then it falls apart at the counter, in front of them, and Mr Pips, the manager, writes you a memo about it.
Store policy is no returns allowed. I’m still working out how long the store can stick to that. It’s in development for PC and Mac, and you can follow along on the Pomo Discord.
Meet the staff
Mr Pips runs the store and writes the memos. You pick one of the other six, and a hat.

Wishlist No Returns Allowed on Steam
Wishlisting genuinely helps. It is how Steam decides who else gets to see the game.
Or leave your email and I will let you know when it launches.
Questions
How many players?
One to four. Everyone on one screen with controllers, or online.
Can I play on my own?
Yes. Some furniture, like the wardrobe, really wants a second pair of hands, but you can drag it alone, slowly.
What can I play it on?
PC and Mac, on Steam.
When is it out, and how much?
Not decided yet. The Discord is the place to hear first.
Do I need a controller?
No. Keyboard works for one player, and up to four controllers can join on the same screen.
Is it hard?
Building one stool is easy. Building three things at once in the dark while someone has the screwdriver is not.
